If ever you are lucky enough to be in the Tavistock Pannier Market on a Saturday then you must seek out Giovanni.
He's in the left hand corner - very appropriate 'cos he thinks Blair is rubbish and wants me to be king. But, this is trivia, if you want the best olives on earth, and the nicest pasta and potatoe pies that the good lord can ever deliver then make for his stall.
When I got thrown out of the market for parading my anti- war banner re. the Iraqi thingy - I got some nasty aggro from most of the BNP, who are rampant in this area - but God Bless him - he stuck an anti-war poster on his stall.
BT try his figs wrapped in dark chocolate - or more importantly give' em to Rags - the aphrodisiac qualities are superb.
