Blues v The Pensioners
I like Jose. Just like Cloughie honest as the day that dawns. And has already managed to take that arrogant Manure manager down a peg or two already. Well done Jose.
At the end of January there is to be a clash of the Titans. The pensioners are doing very well under Jose, and I suspect would be doing very well whether or not he was backed by a Russian crook. After all he won the European Cup with a side that he built for peanuts.
As for the Manure manager he has wasted more millions than most of you and I will get in a lifetime. Only joking Alex - if you've got any spare millions in future however don't spend it on some twonker but send it to http://oxfam.org.uk - we will spend it much more wisely than you - and we don't spit, vituperate or chew gum . Hope your racehorses loose.
Anyway, dear reader, I digress again ( Gordon's motto is, "Why use one word when a thousand will do" ) so back to the subject.
The media have alread written the result off as a foregone conclusion but the wily and perceptive amongst you may have noticed a thing or two. Whilst the Blues, under Brucie's excellent manangement and a switched on board (I will now sing three times over, Keep Right On to the End Of the Road, and genefluct in apology for having been one of their most severe critics) are about to become the team of the century The Pensionors - how can I put it without insulting anyone - remain just Pensioners compared to out lot ( ask Mark Lawrence - not me why we're out).
By the time we've made a few additions to the squad, by the end of January, we will be able to match them man for man.
As I said it will be an epic contest well worth watching but I won't allow Sky and Murdoch's lies into my house so at aged 99 may have to make the trip from Kernow to London. They won't know what's hit em.
Goodnight and God Bless
Gordon
