I Gordon Brown will tax the poor until they starve.

In my final budget I have managed to do what no other Labour Party Chancellor of the Exchequer has done before. By abolishing the 10p rate of income tax on the first £2200 of taxable income and replacing it with a 20p rate I have effectively doubled the tax payable by some of the poorest in the land. This is my finest hour.
